The
Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce encourages its members to
become involved in the political process.
Subjects relevant to local business will be tracked by the Chamber
and the Chamber Lobbyist Marshall Collins (www.marshallrcollins.com),
reported in the Chamber Danbury Difference Newsletter, Legislative
Bulletin and on this Website. For daily updates on pertinent
legislation during the session click on the Connecticut State
General Assembly Website at www.cga.state.ct.us.
To
keep you educated and informed of the legislation that directly
affects the regional business community, the Greater Danbury
Chamber of Commerce will be tracking several targeted issues
throughout the legislative session. The Greater Danbury region
is very fortunate to have a very dedicated and responsive delegation
representing our interests in the Legislature. Yet, our Senators
and Representatives can not serve your interests unless they
hear you issues and concerns. Therefore, it is vital that Chamber
members contact their legislators regularly and make them aware
of how pending legislation may positively or negatively effect
businesses and the economy in their district. We will continue
to provide you with numerous opportunities to make your voice
heard, especially during the legislative session, at a variety
of legislative briefings and other events.
Please remember what happens in Hartford has a direct impact
on you bottom line. Ask questions and be involved. If you have
a particular issue of interest and need additional information
or would like to learn more about the Chamber Legislative Agenda,
please call the Chamber at (203) 743-5565 or e-mail us at
